Church Administration Structure

Spiritual and Financial Management in Unity

The church is divided into two main areas of administration: Spiritual leadership and Financial stewardship.

The Body of Christ manages the spiritual administration of the church, ensuring doctrinal guidance and ministry. Local members are entrusted with managing the church’s finances and assets, ensuring integrity and accountability. The church operates at multiple levels, including international, national, state, district, taluk, and village or town. Spiritual leaders are dedicated to teaching, guiding, and ensuring the congregation’s alignment with God’s Word. Financial management is overseen by individuals who are trustworthy, spiritually mature, and capable of handling church assets with care.

1. Spiritual Administration:

Spiritual matters refer to things related to God, for God is Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:17). God's Word is the truth (Povalkar). When we understand God's Word, we come to know God, His purpose, and His will. For this purpose, we are given five servants (Pabani 4:11-15). Among these are apostles, prophets, priests, bishops, miracles, healings, gifts, ministries, administrations, and tongues (1 Corinthians 12:28).

In every town, taluk, district, state, and nation, there is a spiritual group. An international group will also exist. This group will evaluate biblical doctrines according to the Scriptures and the Body of Christ. They will uphold the discipline of the congregation, teaching them the moral standards as guided by Scripture. They work under the Spirit. Spiritual administration is universal.

2. Financial Management:

Financial management is crucial in God's church. Faithful brothers should be involved in this role. They must be God-fearing, averse to materialism, capable (Exodus 18:21), filled with the Holy Spirit and wisdom, and have a good testimony (Acts 6:3). Such brothers should be entrusted with the administration of the local church. They should form a group of seven, with no more than two members of a family included.

Two members of the spiritual body of the church, who belong to that region, are tasked with ensuring that the local church functions as Christ’s church. These two should not have any administrative responsibilities themselves. It is their duty to lead the financial management team in a spiritual manner.

The movable and immovable assets of the congregation, as well as donations, are managed by this committee. The financial administration is conducted by the Sthala Sabha. Anyone can donate funds to the Sthala Sabha, but no external party should hold them accountable. They are only accountable to the government and the local council.
